This is Beginner trying Indian fabrics. Indian fabrics, especially those made with fine count yarns, have a unique delicacy and rustic feel. This spring, I've created three different white tops using three different striped fabrics, each made by interweaving 60-count cotton yarn with a sparkling, metallic thread. Using the most sparkly fabric, I've created a basic stand-collar shirt and a gorgeous blouse with a shirred neckline. The fluffy silhouettes and candy sleeves give the tops a slightly girly feel. I've given each one its own unique character, so I hope you'll complete the collection of all three.
