The craftsmen assemble delicate flat and round strips carved by hand into a bamboo frame.
It's also great with LED lights.
The bamboo is split into thin strips and then shaved into round strips about 1mm in diameter to make bamboo strips.
It is Self-assembly using traditional techniques such as bending and joining. Among bamboo crafts from around the country, Suruga Bamboo Senjiki Zaiku is most distinctive for its use of thin round strips. Almost the entire process of drilling holes in the heat-bent bamboo frame, inserting the round strips, and Self-assembly is carried out by a single craftsman.
