The blue murmur of Awa indigo sways in your ears

The long-awaited new additions to our indigo shell accessories, which were well-received last year, are now available. These indigo shell ear accessories feature shell parts dyed with genuine indigo "Awa indigo," a color renowned for its beautiful, vibrant blue, even among the many indigo dyes available. There are three shimmering designs that can be enjoyed with a variety of outfits and hairstyles. Enjoy the unique beauty born from the artisanal blending of natural indigo and shells.

This product is made with Awa indigo, a traditional dye that has been used in Tokushima Prefecture since the Edo period, and genuine indigo dyeing using this dye. The shell parts carved from Takase shells, which are used to make high-quality shell buttons, are dyed using the traditional lye fermentation method. Due to the characteristics of the shells, the depth of color varies from one bead to another, creating a marbled pattern. Enjoy the unique characteristics of natural materials.
