I've always admired Indian block prints, and following on from this summer, I've planned a variety of designs for this autumn as well. Block printing is a technique that uses hand-carved wooden blocks to print little by little by hand, resulting in a simple and warm look with slight variations in the placement of the blocks and the shades of color that cannot be achieved by machine. I chose a refreshing pattern with blue flowers on an off-white base. It's a tunic with a smock-length hem, and the front chest area has alternating pleats on the left and right sides to add an accent.
