Learn how to make elegant tatting lace with a shuttlecock from Sumie

1: Earrings and pierced earrings Try holding the shuttle and winding the thread. Learn basic knitting techniques such as rings and picots. Length: approx. 5cm

2: Shuttle Case To help you get used to the shuttle, we will repeat the basic motif knitting technique by changing the thickness of the yarn. Approximately 8 cm long and 5 cm wide.

3: Drawstring bag Try making braids using thin lace thread #40. You can also practice picots. Approximately 17cm long and 13cm wide.

4: Try using two doily shuttles! Practice changing colors and master how to connect motifs. Approx. 9cm x 9cm

5: Bracelet Using two shuttles, try making accessories using glitter thread! Length approx. 13 cm, width approx. 3 cm (excluding metal fittings)

6: Necklace Try tatting lace with beads woven in! You'll feel a sense of accomplishment. Motif length approx. 4cm, width approx. 7.5cm (excluding metal fittings)

You can improve your skills while having fun with different thread thicknesses and colors. You can also use glitter threads of different materials and thread beads.

The coveted tatting lace is made by knitting knots using a special shuttle.

The shuttle, which has an elegant clicking sound as the thread is wound, can be used in a variety of ways, such as using one or two.
