Uji's Japanese black tea: A fusion of tradition and the future.

Ujitawara Town in Kyoto Prefecture is the birthplace of green tea. The young successor of the Asadaen tea farm has carefully cultivated the gyokuro variety "Gokou" and the sencha variety "Saemidori" and transformed them into black tea using his unique techniques. These tea leaves are then expertly blended by a tea master at the Ujitawara Tea Plantation, who has honed his skills for over a century. With each sip, a floral aroma, refreshing sweetness, and deep umami flavor linger. This is a beautiful taste that showcases the refined aesthetic sense of the craftsman, born from a deep engagement with Japanese tea varieties and woven together with the traditional blending techniques of Uji tea.
