Kasamori is a long-established embroidery studio located in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture. They have developed the brand 000/Triple Ou, which creates original products by utilizing the embroidery techniques they have accumulated over the years. Glass cords, which are made of a series of spheres made only from thread, are also popular items of 000. When they were sold once before, many staff members flooded Yamaneko, the Japanese Craftsmen Project, with comments such as "It's convenient and stylish, it's really good!", "It's great that you can use it as a necklace even without glasses", "Do you have other colors? If you do, I'd like to buy some." It was so popular that they immediately contacted Yoichi Katakura, the product designer of 000, and he prepared eight exciting colors. Kasamori, the parent company of 000, has a history of creating a sash called "Kasamori Kenjo" that uses rayon instead of silk during a time of material shortage, providing many people with the option to enjoy fashion. According to Katakura, this glass cord is a continuation of that idea. It is imbued with the desire to deliver beautiful products at an affordable price. Made from thread, they are light and great for those who suffer from stiff shoulders. They also have the added benefit of preventing scratches on glasses. The design is based on minimalist aesthetics and is simple to the point of being clean. The color can completely change the impression, so you can enjoy wearing different colors and changing them every day.
