Banshu-ori cut jacquard. Flowers that stand out like art.

This cotton-blend long skirt features a bold, gorgeous magnolia floral pattern, reminiscent of an art panel. It combines Banshu-ori cut jacquard, delicately crafted with fine threads, with Banshu-ori fabric, which has a brushstroke effect. The calm monotone and clean, elegant silhouette make it perfect for going out. It has Pocket on both sides, a slim front waist, and an elastic back waist. It's easy to put on and take off.

Founded 80 years ago, Fujii Fuku Orimono is a textile factory specializing in Banshu-ori jacquard. While it's said that the more warp threads there are, the more difficult it is to weave, the company produces cut jacquard fabric using a unique double-beam loom with 8,100 warp threads. The company's dedication to this project began with working with a loom manufacturer to create a loom that strikes a balance between the beauty of the design, fabric quality, and productivity. The fabric woven on this jacquard loom then undergoes a process in which the threads extending beyond the pattern are trimmed. The fabric is passed through a specialized machine an astonishing 10 times, with artisans constantly monitoring the process. The elegant woven pattern stands out against the fringe-like pile. It's this meticulous process that produces cut jacquard fabric, a fabric that adds a touch of luxury to everyday life.
