Redoute's "Peony Branch" faithfully reproduced from the original! A needlepoint kit created in collaboration with the Louvre Museum and DMC.

Belgian-born botanical artist Pierre-Joseph Redoutet. His beautiful and detailed botanical paintings made him famous as a ``flower painter.'' His peonies express not only generosity and lustrous beauty, but also delicacy. This needlepoint embroidery kit depicts the magnificent "peony branch" of Redoute, which is associated with the French court. The technique of repeatedly making small diagonal stitches using 100% wool yarn is simple, but it creates a warm, fluffy and voluminous finish. The bright, large flowers that never wither will shine forever.
