    This system allows employees to dedicate 20% of their working hours to activities they are passionate about and can share with customers, in addition to their assigned roles in their respective departments. Beyond roles, departments, and career paths, each employee is encouraged to pursue something they genuinely want to try, aiming for its commercialization. There are various clubs, such as "FELISSIMO Cat Club," which works with cat-loving customers; "FELISSIMO Temple Club," which finds hints for enriching our lives and hearts from temple culture; and "Forest Activities Club," which supports forest conservation through reforestation and environmentally friendly products. Each club expands its activities into areas of interest that go beyond their assigned work roles. Recently, many clubs have shown remarkable success, even being featured in the media.

    Kobe School

    神戸学校

    Once a month, we hold "Kobe School," where we invite authorities active in various fields to give lectures. Not only are our customers welcome, but our employees can also participate. Young employees play an active role in planning the invited authorities and serving as staff to welcome guests on the day, taking on the responsibility of managing everything from pre-event preparations to setting up and guiding guests, so that they can have a pleasant experience. This is not only an opportunity to interact directly with customers, but also an opportunity to gain hints for enriching one's own work and life from the talks of the authorities.

    Long-term special leave

    The "Long-Term Special Leave System" allows employees to take a one-month vacation if they participate in the "Kobe School" and meet certain conditions. How people spend their one-month vacation varies from person to person. It's designed to encourage employees to focus on things they wouldn't normally have time for, such as long-term overseas travel, studying for qualifications, or holding exhibitions, and to apply those experiences to their work. To date, more than 180 employees have taken this leave. Based on the concept of "accumulating the value of creative 'time' for your future self," working adults can also enjoy a summer vacation of their lives.

    Employees can consult with in-house certified career consultants. We provide support for employees to proactively build their careers, offering advice on everything from daily work-related issues to balancing work with childcare or elder care.

    Qualification acquisition support system

    In addition to supporting employees in obtaining work-related qualifications, we also offer a "Happiness Allowance for Mutual Happiness" to help them broaden their horizons and discover their strengths, thereby enriching their lives.

    Employee benefits system

    Childcare leave system

    Our "Childcare Leave System" allows employees to take childcare leave until their child turns two years old. The number of male employees taking childcare leave is increasing year by year, and in 2011 we were certified as a "Kurumin*" company, recommended by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. In 2023 we were also certified as a "Hyogo/Kobe Women's Empowerment Promotion Company" (Mimosa Company). We support working dads and moms with the hope that they will also cherish happy time with their families.
    * If an employer develops and implements an action plan to support employees with childcare responsibilities, and the results meet certain requirements, the employer may be certified as a childcare support employer by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

    Childcare-related reduced working hours system

    Our "Childcare Short-Time Work System" allows employees to reduce their daily working hours until their child completes the third grade of elementary school. It supports working parents in balancing work and family life. We believe that ensuring our employees have fulfilling family lives and enjoy a fulfilling daily life as consumers is also connected to understanding our customers' perspectives.

    Bone marrow donor system

    This system allows employees to take special leave during the rest period required when donating bone marrow. This system was established in response to the actions of employees who had a strong desire to help those in need, to start with what they can do, and to do something for others.

    Company cafeteria

    Espace FELISSIMO has a Santa Cafe (cafeteria), where many employees gather every day during lunchtime for a lively meal. While there isn't a cafeteria at the head office, employees can order bento boxes and delicious bread during lunchtime.

    Club activities

    We have countless company clubs, both official and unofficial, including an "Outdoor Club" for activities like bouldering and fishing, a futsal club, a cello club (whose president is also a member and which performs in professional concerts), and a kimono dressing club. The company encourages employees to fully enjoy the things they love.

    • Can I apply even if I'm a recent graduate or have some work experience?

      FELISSIMO doesn't use the term "new graduate recruitment" for its hiring process. This is because we welcome new graduates, those with some work experience, and experienced professionals to participate in our selection process. We encourage anyone with a strong passion to apply to FELISSIMO 's selection process.

    • I am a foreigner who does not have Japanese citizenship. Can I apply?

      国籍は問いません。日本語で意思の疎通ができ、日本国内在住で、神戸で勤務可能な方であればどなたでもご応募いただけます。

    • Could you please tell me what kind of selection process you will be using?

      The selection process will include individual interviews, group work, group discussions, written exams, and aptitude tests. However, the specific content of each stage will be a surprise until you arrive at the selection venue on the day of the event! There are no exams that require prior study. This selection process is simply an opportunity for you to express your thoughts and feelings, so please be yourself.

    • Will travel expenses be reimbursed during the selection process?

      The selection process will be held in Kobe, with some sessions taking place online. We will partially reimburse your travel expenses once the selection process is underway. Every year, many people from all over Japan participate in the selection process. To date, we have had successful candidates from as far north as Hokkaido and as far south as Kyushu.

    • How are departmental assignments determined after joining the company?

      新入社員研修中に本人の適性等を考慮し、決定しています。ただし、自分が挑戦したいことを上司に伝えることができる面談がありますので、熱い思いがあればアピールすることもできます。またジョブローテーション制度による異動もあり、さまざまな仕事を通して、フェリシモを引っ張っていただける人材へと成長できるステージをご用意しています。

    • Are there transfers required? Also, can I choose my work location?

      The work location will primarily be Kobe (either the head office or Espace FELISSIMO).

    • Are there company housing or dormitories?

      We do not have company housing or dormitories. However, FELISSIMO provides a flat housing allowance of 30,000 yen. Many of our employees live alone, so you won't be in a situation where you "can't make ends meet." Those living far away can rest assured!

    • Are there any dress code rules for work?

      自分も仲間も、お会いするお取り引き先も気持ちよく働ける服装が基本です。商談で外部の方にお会いするとき、企画アイデアを出し合う日、大事なプレゼンがある日……。フェリシモの従業員は、そのときどきにふさわしい、TPOにあわせた節度ある服装で出勤しています。カジュアルな服装の人が多い職場ですが、それは自分らしく自分が心地よいと思える服装を選んでいくうちに自然とそうなっているのかもしれません。説明会や選考試験でもリクルートスーツではなく、あなたが一番自分を表現できる服装でいらしてくださいね!
