This summer, we've created our "luxury jeans" again, using high-quality denim fabric and generously applying a distressed finish. For this summer, we chose a cotton-linen denim with linen-blend yarn in the weft. To achieve a beautiful vertical fade, we used unevenly sized indigo yarn for the warp and a 6-count cotton-linen blend yarn for the weft. The difference in shrinkage rates between cotton and linen adds depth to the surface texture. We bleached the denim to remove the color thoroughly, but rather than bleaching it uniformly, we asked for some variation in shade to create a more pronounced fade. This was quite difficult, but thanks to that, we've created jeans with a well-worn, vintage feel. In addition, we used techniques such as hand-sanding in some areas, blast spraying, and overdyeing to tone down the blue color, resulting in jeans with a worn-in, vintage look. The silhouette is slightly high-waisted for comfort and tapers slightly towards the hem. The length is slightly shorter to create a relaxed, summery feel. It would also look good rolled up. The back Pocket features decorative stitching in the shape of an 'S'.
