This autumn, we've created a handcrafted work shirt using fabric from Shuttle Notes, a Japanese fabric brand. The fabric used is a twill woven with Shuttle Notes' original yarn, which has a natural unevenness (uneven thickness) that cannot be achieved with modern machines by using old spinning machines. By using this uneven yarn for the warp, we've created a rough and tasteful texture, while using regular carded yarn for the weft, we've achieved a soft feel against the skin. We've also put a lot of thought into the design details. The women's version is collarless, and the men's version has a stand collar, and the curve of the facing attached to the top is also different for the women's and men's versions. It's a great shirt to wear on its own or as a jacket.
