My relationship with Shuttle Notes began when I fell in love at first sight with a fabric I saw at an exhibition. We're still good friends, but with the recent price hikes, I've found it difficult to get hold of Shuttle Notes fabrics. This time, Shuttle Notes cooperated with me, and for the first time in a while, I was able to create a shirt using their carefully crafted fabrics. First, the striped fabric used for the body of the shirt takes advantage of the softness of cotton while blending in small amounts of linen and wool to create a firm, resilient feel. Furthermore, because linen and wool have long fibers, the brushed finish creates a rich, textured feel. The twill fabric used in the men's section is made from two-ply yarns made from twisted yarns of different thicknesses, while the separate fabric for the women's section is a cotton-linen fabric that uses circular dyeing to bring out the linen's texture. This shirt is packed with Shuttle Notes' attention to detail.
