A delicately wrapped macrame and natural stone accessory kit

These accessories feature thick, round natural stones wrapped in delicate macrame decorations. Macrame is said to have originated in the Arabian Peninsula around the 13th century, and eventually spread around the world, developing in Central and South America as accessories made by wrapping natural stones in thin cord. While carrying on this tradition, these six accessories, supervised by ALANKAR, have been finished with sophisticated and delicate designs. They complement simple outfits and are also lovely when layered. The secret to their beauty is the waxed cord made in Brazil, a favorite of macrame artists around the world.

Each natural stone has a different color and appearance. Polychrome jasper, in particular, varies greatly in color and pattern.

No adhesives are used, and the natural stones are wrapped and decorated using only knotted thread.
