A jewelry-like magnifying glass necklace made with materials from around the world and craftsmanship from Sabae

KISSO, a company that has been supporting eyeglass materials for many years, has created a loupe that can be worn as a necklace, in a style exclusive to el:ment. Characterized by its rich colors, the resin "cellulose acetate," which is partly derived from cotton, is from Mazzucchelli in Italy. Each cut-out part is polished by a craftsman by hand, giving it a luxurious feel and a beauty that is almost like jewelry.

The shapes are created by cutting out beautifully colored cellulose acetate from Mazzucchelli, an Italian company.

The pentagon represents the five elements that are said to make up the world: earth, water, fire, wind, and sky. Depending on where it is cut, the color and pattern will vary.

Each piece is hand-polished by a craftsman to give it a glossy finish.
