I want to become a person as lovely as a flower
Clothing that embodies the charm and uplifting feelings of flowers
Made with the florist NOKI
The flower that was inspired by this design is the thread chrysanthemum.
One of the most representative flowers of Japan. In ancient times, it was used as a crest and funeral flower in Japan. Recently, its beauty has been rediscovered, and it has been used as an everyday flower at NOKI's weddings.
The long, fluffy petals spread out in a radial pattern, giving the flower an elegant beauty and unique appearance that is quite different from the typical chrysanthemum.
The more you look at the thread chrysanthemum, the more you become fascinated with its mysterious charm, and this project was born.
The item I made is a short-length knitted garment with an original pattern inspired by thread chrysanthemum flowers, expressed in jacquard knitting.
Although there are knitwear with floral patterns, it is probably quite rare to find knitwear with chrysanthemum patterns. And I have never seen a thread chrysanthemum pattern!
The designer of the flower pattern is Higashi, a designer for the fashion brand RBTXCO and an expert on all-over patterns. It's a special knit that even the staff couldn't help but exclaim, "How cute~♡".
The slightly raised collar, the roomy width and shoulders, and the generous sleeves. The balance with the short length makes the outfit look modern. It also enhances your style, killing two birds with one stone.
The fluffy, brushed soft knitwear makes you want to stroke it. It's perfect for the cold season. Girls look cuter when their face is fluffy!
A patterned top will instantly lift your spirits even if your bottoms are simple.
If you wear this knit, you'll be excited and looking forward to going out♪
from NOKI
I had never come across any clothes with a thread chrysanthemum pattern before, but I was able to create this cute short knitwear using fluffy fabric that resembles the characteristic long, thin petals. I hope that many people will learn about the charm of thread chrysanthemums!
