Last time, I also signed up for the cardboard craft workshop. I like crafting and making things by hand, and although I'm not good at sewing, I still end up buying fabric, so I thought this would be perfect. I also liked the box designs that can only be made by hand. It takes time and effort to prepare everything, but the finished product is beautiful and rewarding. I made it using old handkerchiefs, fabric, and scraps of fabric that I bought because they were cute. Once I get the hang of it, I think I'll be able to give them as gifts. The photos in the textbook were small and hard to see. Compared to the cardboard craft workshop, the template system was easier to use. The double-sided adhesive interfacing was easy to attach, and it was good that even if I made a mistake, I could peel it off by applying heat. [Message and advice for those who are thinking of starting] Since you use an iron, you can't take breaks and work at your own pace, but you can make something sturdy. I think there is fabric around that you can't throw away. I think this program will satisfy that feeling.

Tamami-sama (female) from Hiroshima Prefecture
I signed up because I wanted to use up the leftover fabric I had at home and I also wanted a box to organize things. I was able to make it without any material costs, and I'm happy with how the finished product turned out, better than I expected. The textbook had detailed instructions with photos, making it easy to understand. The templates fit perfectly, and I was able to make something beautiful. It would be helpful if the text in the book was a little bigger for my aging eyes. I had to use glasses and a magnifying glass to see the fine details in the photos. [Advice for those who are thinking of starting] I have weak hands, so it was difficult for me to cut the glued-together milk cartons with scissors. I cut each piece using a cutter and ruler and then glued two pieces together. I was able to cut straight, the finished product was neat, and my hands didn't hurt. Just by following the instructions in the book each month, the finished product was so impressive that I couldn't believe I made it myself. I felt a great sense of accomplishment, and I enjoyed it for a year.

Ms. Olivie from Nagano Prefecture (54 years old, female)
I enjoy knitting and embroidery, but I'm not good at sewing, so I haven't done much fabric crafting. However, fabric covering crafts seemed like something even I could do. It's perfect for someone as clumsy as me, since it only involves cutting and pasting, and doesn't require any sewing. I'm also enjoying matching colors and patterns. I use the finished products to hold small items. I chose fabrics that matched the decor of the room where I put them, so they blend in nicely.

Ms. Bucchi from Gunma Prefecture (58 years old, female)
It's a win-win situation because I can organize my clothes at the same time, and practically keep the fabric of clothes with sentimental value, making it easier to throw things away.
