This strap was made from Kyoto's traditional braided cords, planned by OSYAIRO staff who love Kyoto and crafts. The braids are made by Showen Kumihimo in Uji, Kyoto, who transforms the historic Kyoto braids into something that suits the modern era. The lustrous braids are made using a braiding method called "Edo-uchi," and each one has a mysteriously different look depending on the color combination. This one was braided using four colors: three kinds of purple and pale pink. If you look closely, you'll enjoy the subtle colors of the threads and the ingenious color combinations.
Of course, we want you to use it as a smartphone strap in your everyday life, but we also want you to use it during live performances! Because during live performances, you tend to not have enough hands to hold the cheering fans, penlights, and binoculars! This strap is useful in such situations. If you hang a penlight or binoculars around your neck, you will have enough hands! Haha It's also a great way to show off your favorite color, so we recommend it!
