<Taotie-style Fang Yi>

The three-dimensional pattern design unique to Chinese bronzeware is expressed using foam printing.

The three pouches come in different designs and sizes and can be used in a variety of ways, such as a pen case or cosmetic pouch.

Each is the perfect size for a gadget case, paperback book case, or pencil case.

The "Cicada Design Cutting Board" is shaped like a table with two legs, with a cicada design, which is considered a symbol of rebirth, on the slightly curved top, and a taotie design, characterized by large round eyes, on the surface of the legs. A "cutting board" refers to a stand for serving meat at ceremonies, but based on the condition of the excavated item, it is thought to have also been used as a cutting board for cutting meat.

"Yu" is a type of vessel thought to have been used to hold wine or herb broth for flavoring, and "Dingran Yu" is a type with a long, slender body. The body features a taotie pattern with large horns.

The "Taotie Design Square Yi" is a type of wine vessel that is thought to have been used for serving wine. The vessel has a square cross section and a roof-shaped lid, each of which is decorated with taotie patterns. It is characterized by its decorative expression, and in addition to the eyes and horns, even the small parts of the body, limbs, etc. are precisely painted.

Founded in 1960 for the purpose of preserving, researching and displaying art pieces formerly owned by the Sumitomo family. The ancient Chinese bronzeware and mirrors collected by the 15th head of the family, Sumitomo Shunsui, from the mid-Meiji to the Taisho periods are highly regarded around the world as the most comprehensive collection in terms of both quality and quantity outside of China.
