Discover the allure of Noh masks, which embody ever-changing emotions.

With the desire to bring the worldview of the classical performing art "Noh" closer to people, we collaborated with the Kyoto Kanze Noh Theater to create these Noh mask pouches. In addition to the first release, "Manpi," "Okina" and "Hannya" have now been added. "Hannya," which represents complex emotions such as anger and sadness, and "Okina," which symbolizes diverse blessings, have been made into multi-purpose pouches that can be used in a variety of ways. Just as putting on a Noh mask is a transformation ritual that makes you feel like you're in another world, these three pouches may become your own personal switch, vividly switching between your everyday on and off modes the moment you take out your small items.

ミュージアム部|京都観世会館×ミュージアム部　神秘的な能の世界にふれる翁の面マルチポーチ|COLLABORATION【京都観世会館】京都を拠点とする観世流シテ方の本拠地。能舞台は、総檜造り、鏡板の老松は京都を代表する日本画家・堂本印象画伯の手によるもの。会員能楽師による例会を含む多くの自主公演、また各家の定期能、個人主催の公演、狂言会、お稽古をされている方の発表会などが開催される。

COLLABORATION [Kyoto Kanze Kaikan] The home of the Kanze-ryu Shitekata based in Kyoto. The Noh stage is made entirely of cypress, and the old pine paneling was created by Insho Domoto, one of Kyoto's leading Japanese painters. Many independent performances are held, including regular meetings by member Noh performers, as well as regular Noh performances by each family, performances sponsored by individuals, Kyogen performances, and presentations by those who are practicing.
