Sealing wax is used to seal documents and show that they are unopened. I was attracted to this characteristic and created a brooch that looks like a sealing wax, with a design inspired by "works that spell out hidden feelings." For the brooch of a work that depicts a confession or the discovery of feelings, I designed it to crack like a real sealing wax that breaks when opened.
