Every day I travel with the vibrant colors of Africa.

This drawstring eco bag is made from carefully selected African print pagne fabric. Its convenient design includes an inner Pocket. It can be used for shopping, as an inner bag, or as a gift. This item is sewn on a treadle sewing machine by staff at a sewing school run by an NGO in the town of Segou, Mali.

The HARMONY FOR PEACE project was launched by Japanese volunteers concerned about the coup that took place in the Republic of Mali in March 2012 and the subsequent unrest, and calls for peace through music and art.
