It's disappointing that there was absolutely no explanation that battery replacement can only be done at a shop specializing in waterproofing or by the manufacturer. I wish I had considered it more carefully and looked for a solar-powered type that gives a warning before the battery runs out. I feel a bit like I made a mistake, but the design is cute, so I'll use it for now.
