[Miroko Machiko] Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1981. Artist and picture book author. Her debut picture book, "The Day the Wolf Flies" (East Press), won the prestigious Japan Picture Book Award Grand Prize, garnering much attention. Her subsequent picture books have also won various awards. Miroko says, "I want to live my life painting with as big an attitude as possible and creating stories with as much excitement as possible." This calendar, overflowing with Miroko's love for cats, is a must-have for any Miroko fan.
