It's incredibly useful in the kitchen too. It dries quickly, so you can use it often and wash it often.
〈 A Cat's Love 〉
<Snow hail>
〈First butterfly〉
<Moon-viewing dumplings>
It's also fun to use it as a placemat, laid out on the ground.
It's also recommended to use it by hanging it over baskets or other items to protect them from dust or to provide privacy.
"hirali" is dyed with different colors on the front and back, inspired by the traditional Japanese color culture of "layered colors," and themed around seasonal words. The fabric becomes softer and more appealing with use, and you can enjoy the texture of traditional Japanese bleached cotton.
A beautiful obi (sash) is wrapped around it. It includes a description of the pattern and colors. It would make a perfect gift.
[hirali] The hand towel brand “hirari” in Sakai, Osaka is based on the unique “double-sided dyeing technology by roll printing”, which is the only one in Japan, and is inspired by the ancient Japanese color culture of “layered colors”. A brand that is making things that have been acquired. The front and back of the tenugui are dyed in different colors with patterns based on Japanese season words. The exquisite color scheme is sophisticated and beautiful, adding color to your life.
[Japan's only double-sided dyeing technology for tenugui] "Chusen" is also famous as a dyeing method for tenugui, but "hirali" tenugui is made with a dyeing method called "roll printing". I'm here. The material used is "Zarashi", which is slowly finished using traditional Japanese manufacturing methods. It feels a little thicker than a typical tenugui. It features the soft texture of cotton. Sakai City, Osaka, has had a thriving Japanese bleaching industry since the Edo period. We have produced tenugui, yukata, cloth diapers, etc. using roll printing technology. However, now that the way of life is changing drastically from the past, a long-established factory that knows both the front and back of Japanese sarashi has created a new textile called "double-sided dyeing". In this way, the brand "hirali" with new value will connect the technology of roll printing to the next generation. "Evolving Tradition"... cool.
"Roll printing" is a technique where dye mixed with paste is pressed onto the area to be dyed using a mold. Currently, there are only a handful of artisans in Japan who can do this. The degree to which the dye penetrates the fabric depends on how hard the mold is pressed, so if you press too hard, the color will show through to the other side, and if you don't press hard enough, the color won't adhere properly. It is the artisans who are responsible for adjusting the machine by 0.1 mm to dye both sides of the fabric beautifully. Amazing.
