The bold colors and patterns create a modern look reminiscent of antique kimonos. The colorful checkered pattern of this purse gives it a striking texture with a bumpy feel. This texture is a unique feature of "Leather Yuzen", which is made by applying the Yuzen dyeing technique to leather. Yuzen dyeing is a traditional dyeing method in which patterns are drawn in vivid colors on cloth. Based on this technique, Osaka artisans have arrived at Leather Yuzen through trial and error, and the unique unevenness is created by the reaction of a shrinking agent mixed into the dye during the steaming process of dyed leather. The organic swelling caused by the expansion and contraction of the fibers and the thickness of the parts is attractive because no two pieces are the same. This special material was made into a wallet by a wallet specialty factory in Osaka. The time-consuming purse is beautifully finished down to the smallest detail with skilled techniques. The satisfying click when opening and closing is also unique to the craftsmanship. The round resin clasp was also selected to match the color of the checkered pattern. The red and green checks are coordinated with ivory colored clasps, while the brown check is coordinated with red agate colored clasps. The large clasps are also an accent to the design. The interior is functional, with many card Pocket and a large coin purse. The texture fits comfortably in your hand, making it a comfortable everyday item.
