This genuine leather shoe series from Nagata, Kobe, is renowned for its soft feel, hard to believe it's made of genuine leather. Working with shoemakers and craftsmen in Nagata, a city known for its shoes, the project began by creating the ideal prototype to fit the feet of modern Japanese Craftsmen Project women. Working hand in hand with Yamaneko, the project leader, are the shoemaker's president, Minoru Oka, and shoemaker Masaru Maeshiro. They are the driving forces behind the creation of authentic leather shoes in Nagata, where synthetic footwear was the norm. Now, the lace-up shoes that are the origin of Nagata's genuine leather shoes are being introduced in a new color. This is the 11th generation model. The Vintage Wood Brown color offers a beautiful, deep, chic, and subdued look. Its dark, almost black hue easily matches anything and adds a crisp edge to any outfit. The Cameo Beige color is a mellow color with a hint of yellow, reminiscent of ivory. It blends in with your outfits more easily than pure white, and creates a casual, relaxed look for your feet. The glossy red insole and gold foil-stamped logo stand out, making it a great choice even when you take it off. It goes without saying that the shoes are comfortable, enveloping even high-arched, wide feet. The new, sharp sole gives it an even more streamlined look. The sneaker-like fit is also recommended for those who don't like the tightness of leather shoes.
