We've created a coat that will become the focal point of your outfit as soon as you slip it on. The material, chosen for its comfortable fit and relaxed fit, is a recycled wool blend from Oshu. Wool tends to be heavy, but by blending it with polyester and acrylic to incorporate air, we've achieved a light and soft feel. The A-line silhouette looks great from any angle, with adorable cocoon sleeves. The tasteful, chic color and large check pattern make this a piece that stands out.
The Bishu region of Aichi Prefecture is world-famous for its woolen textiles. This product features a richly textured wool fabric that exudes the warmth and charm that is unique to Bishu. The region is united in its efforts to promote sustainability, including the use of "recycled wool," which reuses the limited wool available from sheep. Scraps and leftover yarn are hand-color-sorted, then re-filled with recycled polyester to create yarn, a laborious process that involves refining the material.
