<Cherry Blossoms> The dye is made from cherry blossom branches and madder. A beautiful pink that is indescribably born from the power of budding. This special color captivated Shimura Fukumi after receiving a gift from a cherry blossom guardian in Sagano who has been there for generations. Madder, which is dyed from the roots, is a powerful color. It is said to be one of the oldest plant dyes in the world.
<Hyacinth> The dyes are made from indigo and safflower root. Indigo is the "color of the origin of life." Among dyes, indigo is like a living thing and is difficult to care for, so it is said to be the most spiritual and special thing for Japanese people. The color of safflower root comes from the root of the safflower plant. The safflower is a special color because it is said to have once grown wild in Musashino, where Shimura Fukumi spent her childhood.
