A traditional Ishikawa Prefecture craft, "Kutani ware" sake cup, turned into a pincushion

This pincushion is made on a Kutani ware sake cup, one of Ishikawa Prefecture's proud traditional crafts. Although it is small, you can enjoy the various styles of painting that are the charm of Kutani ware. In addition to pincushions, it is also recommended as a ring pillow or interior decoration.

[Yoshidaya] It has a heavy and unique atmosphere, and is characterized by a style that uses the four colors of blue (green), yellow, red, purple, and indigo, and covers the entire vessel with small patterns as a ground pattern.

[Kokutani] Characterized by five colors: blue (green), yellow, red, purple, and deep blue. Bold composition, free line drawing, and a powerful and dynamic taste are its charms.
