Tracing the craftsmanship of a foreign land, stitch by stitch.

"Irá Šoš" is a traditional embroidery technique passed down through generations in the Transylvania region of western Romania. It is a simple yet beautiful handcraft that expresses motifs such as flowers and birds using single-colored threads. The design is pre-printed on the fabric, so even beginners can easily follow along. With each stitch you make, a quiet sense of exhilaration spreads through you, as if you are touching the life and culture of a faraway land. The finished doily is a special piece that will look beautiful just by being displayed.
Íráshos means...
Traditional hand embroidery from the Transylvania region of Romania. It is characterized by the use of thick, single-color threads, such as red or black, to dynamically fill in traditional motifs like tulips, roses, and birds without leaving any gaps. Using techniques such as "open chain stitch" and "buttonhole stitch," the thick threads dynamically cover the surface, resulting in a simple yet three-dimensional finish.
