A lesson kit for learning the technique of Hardanger, a traditional Norwegian embroidery that combines delicate cutwork. Designed and supervised by Futaba Misono, who has a reputation for beautiful works. I don't know how to start Hardanger, so I practiced with a basic mini doily every month before moving on to advanced cloth accessories. The fabric used is Zweigart's embroidery cloth from Germany. While stepping up each month, you can enjoy mastering the enchanting Scandinavian cutwork.

1st month First, start the Hardanger handicraft from 18 count cotton fabric that is easy to pierce.

●This is an example of a one-time delivery kit.

2nd month Again at 18 counts, we will increase the types of stitches and the amount of stitches to polish our skills.

3rd month Longed-for linen material. The number of stitches is also 20 counts, making it more delicate and advancing to a full-fledged hardanger.

4th month To a more delicate 25 count. The embroidery thread also uses three colors, and the tension goes up.

5th month Apply black to 25 count unbleached linen fabric. Let's get used to the irregular texture.

6th month The culmination is trying 28 count white linen. Careful handiwork bears fruit, and the sense of accomplishment is also great.

The real pleasure of Hardanger embroidery, which has its roots in Italian drone work, is cutwork. You can enjoy unique and beautiful embroidery by embroidering on the fabric and combining cutwork by pulling out the weaving thread.
