The power of color and handmade

Miso, rice crackers, mochi, chimaki... I grew up familiar with these homemade items sent by my grandmother from a young age, and I was raised on the taste of homemade food, which is different from mass-produced items. The food that my grandmother made with time and effort had a story to tell, it enhanced my sense of taste, became a part of me, and even now I think of my deceased grandmother from time to time.

I was apparently a child who was excited by the first Disney movie I saw when I was around three years old, and would immediately start drawing when I got home. Perhaps because I was exposed to the colors of kimonos from a young age due to my uncle's work, I developed an early interest in color and have loved working with colors since elementary school. I joined the wood carving club in elementary school and the cloisonné club in high school. Later, I studied dyeing and weaving at an art university, and after studying at a professional makeup school, I studied color-related subjects such as color analyst and color therapist, and before I knew it, I had been working in color-related fields for over a decade.

During the time when the coronavirus was shaking the world and I was unable to move freely, I started making accessories. I decided to transform the colors I had been involved with up until then into accessories, and thus "color therapy accessories" were born.

The products are created primarily using the 10 colors used in color therapy, supporting both mind and body.

This is truly the culmination of my life's work! The role of "color therapy accessories" is to exist in a way that is close to people's hearts and bodies, allowing them to lift their spirits by wearing meaningful colors, or simply to think, "These colors are beautiful!" I've come to realize that this may be connected to the handmade items my grandmother made that enriched my mind and body. I now find great joy in creating each original piece and delivering them to those who need them.
