Embroidery is something that almost every woman has admired at some point, wanting to try it herself. But don't you often give up because you don't know how to start, it seems difficult, or you think you need to buy a lot of tools?
For beginners like you, I would recommend"A workshop on creating sampler embroidery frames using freshly picked flowers and berries."It's a kit.
This time, a staff member who is a beginner at embroidery will show you what kind of embroidery can be made using this kit.

It's palm-sized, making it easy to start. Embroidery for beginners: Create flowers with stitches.

This kit, which was planned in collaboration with embroidery artist Kazuko Aoki, has been running for a long 15 years. Having tried the kit myself, I really felt that it was created with the intention of being "something that beginners can easily get started with without getting stuck."

The kit includes everything you need: instructions, fabric, frame, embroidery needles (for embroidery thread and beads), sampler card (with a photo of the finished product), embroidery thread, and beads. The only things you need to prepare separately are scissors, a sewing needle, sewing thread, and tape. These are used for finishing the back of the finished piece. Normally, you would need other tools such as tracing paper to transfer the design from an embroidery book, fusible interfacing to give the fabric stiffness, an iron, and an embroidery hoop, but in this kit, the design is already transferred to the fabric. Furthermore, fusible interfacing is already attached to the fabric, so there is no need to use an iron to attach it.

I didn't have an embroidery hoop, but the fabric with the fusible interfacing attached was stiff enough that I could start stitching right away without one. This kit makes it easy to start embroidery, so it's really great for beginners.

Those who like to get absorbed in things will surely be hooked! Try stitch embroidery for the first time.

I followed the instructions and stitched according to the pattern. It had been decades since I last did embroidery, since elementary school, so I was a little confused at first, but the instructions clearly show where to start and the order in which to stitch, so even beginners can easily stitch by simply following the pattern.

I stitched away, comparing the finished sample and the design side-by-side. The stitching techniques differed for the stem, leaves, and fruit, and there were many unfamiliar terms like backstitch and satin stitch, but the instructions included how to do each stitch, so I was able to proceed smoothly without getting lost. I particularly like the leaves, which I stitched with satin stitch. As I stitched away mindlessly, the beautiful sheen of the embroidery thread began to emerge, and I became engrossed in seeing how beautifully I could stitch it.

The fruit parts sometimes turned out larger than the sample, or I couldn't make them perfectly round, but it was fun to feel myself improving with each fruit I finished making.

And here is the finished embroidery. It took about 3 hours. I was even able to do letter embroidery, which is something you should know when doing embroidery, so I feel like I've improved a lot all at once.
It was a time to truly forget the usual hustle and bustle, just to slowly do embroidery. I realized that time can be spent so slowly.

My dream embroidery is finally complete! I'll frame it and use it as room decor..

I was amazed when I saw the finished product; even a beginner like me could easily create something of this quality. The kit includes a frame so you can display your finished embroidery, which made the process exciting as I wondered where I would display it afterward.
