last time,Tae Sasao's story about her time studying in EnglandWe've covered various topics, but in this final installment, we'll introduce the charm of the collaboration kit with Couturier, "Luxuriously Shining Rose Accessories Made with Bead Weaving," and the thoughts and messages that Tae Sasao put into the product.

It all started when I bought a bead weaving loom with my allowance when I was in junior high school.

For Tae Sasao, her encounter with bead weaving began in junior high school when she found a bead loom in the craft section of a department store and bought it with her allowance. What truly captivated Tae Sasao about bead weaving techniques was her encounter with many Victorian beaded bags during her time studying in England.

The rose, a symbol of the Victorian era, is the motif.

The motif is, of course, the rose, a symbol of Britain. Victorian-era antiques are said to be the source of inspiration. The piece she is most attached to in this design is the bracelet. Because it is the most rewarding piece to create, she made it with an intricate beadwork pattern that resembles a genuine antique.

Beadwork inspired by the ornaments worn by ladies in the 19th century.

Victorian ladies didn't carry much luggage, so they wore small bags and pouches as accessories. The amulet purses and lip cases worn around the neck that we're proposing here are inspired by the decorative items that became popular in the later era when people started carrying cosmetics with them.

The key to bead weaving is controlling the tension of the thread.

We asked Ms. Sasao for tips on finishing bead weaving. "The goal is to create a smooth, even fabric without any bumps or unevenness when finished. Pay attention to the tension of the threads and how you finish them off, otherwise it will become messy at the end. In addition to a bead loom, a pair of pointed scissors is very useful."

If you take your time and work at a relaxed pace, it can be an enjoyable task.

Finally, here is a message from Tae Sasao: "The most important secret to bead weaving is to take your time and work at a relaxed pace. I put a lot of effort into the designs so that they can be cherished for a long time. The substantial weight when you hold it in your hands, the smooth texture of the weaving, and the sparkling effect will make it a wonderful gift."

How did you like it? Bead weaving with elegant designs reminiscent of the Victorian era. Why not try making some delicate and refined rose accessories?
