Clay crafting is easy even for beginners! How to make accessories

Let's try making accessories using flour clay. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to easily create your own original parts!

What kind of clay is it?

There are various types of clay, including those made from soil and those containing paper, but the clay we will be using this time is made from wheat flour and hardens through natural drying. The clay colors we will be using are "off-white, white, red, yellow, green, blue, brown, and black." Off-white is the base clay used when mixing colors. With these seven types of clay, you can create most colors.

How to measure clay

Let's try making something using clay!

This time, let's try making accessory parts. We'll make round, candy-like parts with holes and tie them together with leather cord. Once you get the hang of it, you can also make miniature parts and bead-like parts, so please give it a try!

◇Materials (things you need)

·clay(Off-white, red, yellow, green, blue, etc.)

Leather strap(Please choose the color and material you like.)

◇Form the parts

◇Once the parts are completely dry

◇Connected with leather straps

Once the clay is completely dry, simply thread a leather cord through the hole and tie a knot to complete your bracelet! Feel free to create variations as you like! It also looks cute when wrapped twice.

◇How to make accessory parts in other colors

Generally, use at least the same amount of off-white clay as colored clay. Try combining different colored parts to create your own unique design!

Pastel pink = 12mm off-white beads + 4mm red beads

Pastel yellow = 12mm off-white beads + 4mm yellow beads

Orange = Off-white 10mm beads + Yellow 8mm beads + Red 5mm beads

Purple = Off-white 11mm beads + Blue 6mm beads + Red 6mm beads

• Blue = Off-white 9mm beads + Blue 9mm beads

I added some variations, making bracelets with round beads and even creating glass bead-like components.
